The care home provider is a healthcare and social support organisation which provides residential or nursing care to people with physical, intellectual and mental disabilities.
The care home provider will provide the following services:
- Residential or nursing care
- Social work
- Social support
- Rehabilitation services, including physiotherapy and occupational therapy
- Specialist dementia care, including day centres and respite care.
The evaluation procedure takes a little time, but if you qualify, we will pay for the person you care for the health and social care requirements.
Whether you receive care at home or in a nursing facility, the complete cost of your care is covered, including:
- Residence fees, including lodging expenses
- Medical attention
- Personal care, such as assistance with dressing and bathing
Having a primary health condition may make you eligible for our continuing care. In contrast to social or emotional care needs, maintaining your health needs must take up most of your care. A checklist will be used to guide you through the initial screening. You will be qualified after a fully comprehensive examination of your needs.
The entire assessment’s objective is to determine your eligibility for Healthcare and Social Support Association ongoing healthcare funding.
