Let’s Collaborate To Improve Homecare

Let’s shape homecare together

WHO WE ARE

We are the UK's membership organisation for homecare providers. Together, we ensure that homecare is appreciated so everyone can find happiness at home and prosper in their community. When you get in touch with Healthcare and Social Support Association, we will take the time to hear about your requirements and tailor our health and social support care package to suit them. We will ensure you have suitable carers who get you the care you need. According to your needs and schedule, we can offer homecare anywhere between a few hours per day and week. We assist health and social service providers in upgrading and improving their services. The mission of the Healthcare and Social Support Association is to:

Provide Higher-Quality Social And Homecare Services In the UK

We accomplish this through a potent fusion of knowledge and expertise that:

  • Enables individuals to participate in choices about creating and providing health and care services.

Partnership Work

Healthcare and Social Support Association assists individuals in the UK who provide health and social care in continuously improving their services to fulfil the evolving requirements of the population better.

Working in Collaboration

We support housing organisations, local governments, NHS boards, and third-party and independent care providers.

Impacting Change

The Healthcare and Social Support Association supports the following services by encouraging ongoing quality improvement:

  • Recognise their very relevant improvement opportunities.
  • Create procedures, treatment plans, and other frameworks to enhance results.
  • Enact adjustments that will result in improvement.
  • Analyse the effects of changes, implement change, and distribute knowledge.

Continually test and measure improvements to improve care, building on the significant investment in developing skills and capability across the health service, with the assistance of the Healthcare and Social Support Association’s committed expertise.

Our entire operation is predicated on the idea that increasing our strength can improve workers’ lives everywhere. Public workers must have access to fair labour laws, respectable working conditions, and participation in how the services they provide are managed in order to serve the community.

Health Care and Social Support Association offers assistance with daily care and living. This kind of social support care service is perfect for clients who still want to be independent and live their best lives but may require assistance in some areas. With the help of our membership, healthcare professionals can offer a social assistance care plan to suit your needs, whether you are living alone, with a spouse, or in sheltered housing. You may require assistance once or twice a week with household chores, getting ready for bed, cooking, or conversation. Our employees have received training in medication administration as well. If your family or spouse is now your primary care, we can offer you a rest break.

OUR STRATEGY

As a professional association that focuses solely on assisting organisations that provide home-based support and care, we continue to build on our distinct position in the industry.

Our mission is to assist members in anticipating the future of health care and setting up their care services to take on the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

We will be honest about our capabilities and of others, and when required, we will develop strategic partnerships with other organisations with similar but separate goals or regions.

We will approach our job with a scientific proof strategy, collecting, analysing, evaluating, and integrating data to make valuable knowledge and information. We will be focusing on assisting our members in enhancing the effectiveness of their care services and business success through the following:

  • Advocating for their objectives
  • Offering evidence-based professional advice and guidance
  • Linking members with other organisations to assist them in accomplishing their goals

In order to strengthen our collective voice and jointly shape homecare, we will increase our membership from approximately 30% of the addressable market to 50% over the course of five years. We will also coordinate and supervise with members and other stakeholders.
